transfers back and luggage????

when have a transfer with disney. for our 4 day / when we exit the ship they have our luggage from out side our door the night before .
do they put it on the bus?
when we get to the airport do they take it to the plane or do we haul from the bus to check in?

We just returned from the 4 night. When we exited, we had to go to the luggage section inside the terminal to pick up our luggage. We checked our luggage at the airport kiosks outside the terminal. Those that didn't took it on the bus.

txs mrsg. one qyestion cause i am slow to catch on. do you mean the port terminal or the airport terminal?
and if you mean port term.. when you get to airport do they take or do we ? thxs sorry for confusion.. ps did you love your cruise?

You have to claim your luggage in the port terminal after debarking the ship. It must be in your possesion when you pass Customs/Immigration. Outside the port terminal, there are desks for some airlines at which you can check your bags. I know Delta has a desk, because we usually fly with them, I think about 4 or 5 other airlines do, too. If your airline has a desk, you can check your luggage at the port, and just hop on the bus. The bags will be transferred to the airport and put on your flight. You won't have to deal with them again until you land at home.

If your airline doesn't check bags at the port, you'll have to have them loaded on your bus, and you'll then have to grab them when you get to the airport and check them in there.

Can you check your bags at the Delta check point even if you don't have the Disney transfers? Two people from our party are flying Delta after our cruise, but we were just going to drop them off at the airport on our way to WDW.

According to the Passporter guide, the following airlines are available at the port that will allow you to check-in your luggage for you flight if you are flying out of Orlando Airport:

American Airlines
Delta
Northwest
US Air
Continental
