transfers and holding

Does anyone know if "holds" can apply to transferred in points (If a trip would have to be cancelled)? I am guessing yes and follow the original members expiration(year & month).

Transferred points do retain their original Home Resort & Use Year. You may bank transferred points but afaik if you've committed them to a reservation and are cancelling under 31 days then they do take on Holding status.
