A friend has a site for a week in December. They might not be able to go because MIL health reasons. She was wondering if we would want their site? Is it possible to transfer a reservation? I know reservations are hard to come by and I don't want to make anyone upset. Just wondering if they have a policy on this?

You cannot transfer a reservation, but you can change the names of the secondary guests. So they could remove all of their names on the reservation except for the primary guest, then add your names to the reservation and give you the authority to check in and pay the balance upon arrival. It might cost $2 more per night because there would be 3 adults, but at least you would be guaranteed the site at this late date.

Thank You very much for your answer. Hopefully it won't come to that for my firiends and they will be able to go as orginally planned.
