Transferring points with later use year

I am going to word this the least confusing way possible. I am looking into transferring points into my account and have been eyeing ones listed from the timeshare store. If they have an October use year for instance, and are going to be transferring the points from the 10/2019 use year, when do they get transferred? Does this mean I have to wait until October for them to be transferred, or can they be transferred now? Just confused how this works.

They can be transferred now. Current UY and one UY ahead can be transferred.

Transferred points retain their UY and home resort. Transferred points can be banked into the next UY but you cannot borrow them into the prior UY. Those Oct. 2019 points can be used for a reservation anytime between 10/01/2019-09/30/20 or they can be banked and used for a reservation that falls between 10/01/2020 - 09/30/2021.
