I'm looking at booking at the 11 month window for BCV. I have extra points at SSR, different use year. Can I transfer points from SSR into BCV and still book at 11 month window? And will I be using my one transfer privilege from my SSR account or both SSR and BCV?

Not unless you get a CM who will bypass the booking rules.

You will use the one transfer per use year for both contracts.

I own at at 4 different resorts, and cannot transfer points from one to the other and have the 11 month booking window. The points will retain their original UY and resort, and I don't think MS would even do the transfer if it is the same owner. There would be no point.

How about borrowing from your BCV contract to get enough points? Would that do it?

I'm already borrowing 2008 for 2007 UY, but it's OK, i can probably split the stay. I don't mind. it just would have made life easier if all points could be considered one set.

At 7 months try to cancel the one you would rather not have and make it at the other resort. If you can't do it right away, go on a wait list. At least if that doesn't work, you'll have a reservation anyway.

Once when we did not have enough points for the full seven nights even with borrowing, we got as many days in a one bedroom and remaining days in a studio for the seven days - like four nights in a one bedroom for the toughest days to get and three in a studio. At seven months exactly, we used our other resort points to upgrade the studios to a one bedroom.
