Transferring points between DVC members

Is there an official write-up concerning transferring points between members? If not, is there a write-up somewhere in the forums or can someone explain the rules/procedures around this?

I transferred points to another member for the first time last year, and it's pretty painless. You need the # of the account the points are going to. Then call MS, give them the number, and in 24 hours or less, the other member has the points. It's not reversible, so if you are renting those points, make sure you have the money first, or else it's someone you are SURE you can trust.

I also rented 7 pts from another member, who transferred them into my account, and that was painless, too. (these were two different memberships. I don't think you can transfer IN and OUT of the same account in the same year) Hope this helped.
