Transferring of Membership?

My extended family is going through some legal problems and we have come into a problem. We have been DVC members since 92, and may be forced to give up the membership. We are wondering, are you able to give the dvc account to another person as a gift? Or can you pass it to a child? Any advice would be extremely helpful!!

I know you can give it to a child because many people buy several small contracts rather than 1 large one so they can easily pass it on to multiple children. Your best bet is to contact Member Administration to see what your options are.

We were told last week that you can gift it off to children (not sure about others). Just call MS.

You can gift to immediate family, not minors ROFR is waived. A gift to someone else goes through ROFR and IMO Disney could take back the contract.
