Transferring money to uk after selling points

Hi can anyone tell me the best way to transfer $ to the U.K. after selling DVC points? Is it better to be sent a cheapie in $ or wire transfer ? Advice would be appreciated.

We have an account with Transferwise. It's a multi-currency card, that can have multi-currency bank accounts attached to it. So, I have a US dollar bank account attached to mine. I have money paid into that account in dollars. I can then transfer it into pounds through Transferwise. The interest rate they offer seems to be better than that offered by the UK banks and certainly better than that offered by Paypal. Now is a great time for a UK owner to be selling with the current exchange rate
