Transferring Disney Reward Dollars

Can reward dollars be transferred by phone or do you have to do it online? I thought I read that you could do it by phone, but of course, now can't find the number

Sure you can do it on the phone, but it's way easier on line IMHO. But here's the phone # if you'd rather call (It's on the back of the card by the way) (800) 300-8575.

Thanks -- I agree it's very easy online. Our timing will be a bit off -- we won't have access to a computer when our statement closes and we want to use the dollars accumulated last month.

Aha that certainly makes sense. Love those rewards, I pay everything I can on my Disney Visa (including my DVC maintenance fee) and then pay it off so no finance charges accrue. I have over $180 in rewards to use on my trip next week, yeeha!

We do the same thing!! We're going to switch to paying our dues with the card. Nice to know we can use the reward dollars for dues as well. Can't wait to spend those reward dollars at WDW though.

As of last fall, Bank One had a tent / stand at Downtown Disney where they could help you transfer reward points in person.

I can comfirm that as of earlier this week there is a booth for the Disney visa still at DTD, in the marketplace, near enterance into Once Upon a Toy Store (if memory serves). I don't know what they can or cannot do there, but it was there and staffed.

Do you have to wait for the statement to post to get the points transfered? We have ~$10 on there, but our statement does not post until almost the last day of our trip.

Don't forget to check the expiration date on your rewards card. Any $ left on the card when it expires is gone.

Also, it looks like as of our last statement, they haven't doubled our rewards for Dec-Feb(?) purchases. Anyone else running into this problem?

You can transfer earned rewards anytime you have them. I believe there is a minimum threshold--something like $20 to order the reward card and make your first transfer, and then each subsequent transfer must be $10 or more.

But, you need to wait until your statement closes to actually earn the rewards each month. In other words, if you spend $1000 today, you won't get the $10 in rewards until your next closing.
