Transferring between DVC resorts

I think we will be splitting our stay between OKW and SSR. Disney will take care of moving our stuff, right? How does that work? What about our laptop if we take it, can you trust them to move that safely?

We have split one of our stays in the past and the process was painless. We called to have our bags picked-up from the room early on the morning of the move. We were given a tag indicating the number of bags. When we checked-in at the second resort later that day our bags were waiting for us. We left some valuables in our bags and at least one camera was left behind. No problem.
On other stays we have left our bags with the resort on the morning of our check-out then gone to the parks until late afternoon before leaving for the airport. We have left a laptop with them and we did not have any problems.

I've done it from a regular disney resort to DVC and betwwn DVC resorts. It's safe and easy. I've sent my laptop with them. Tipped at both ends. They'll pick your bags up or you bring them to the bell stand. They tell you that the bags can arrive at your new resort as late as 3 PM. I also don't think that they'll deliver your bags to your new room unless you're physically there.
