Transferred points question

If I receive transferred points from another member, can I use the 11 month window at that resort? We are closing on an AKV contract, and I've got an co-worker who wants us to take some points that they cannot use. They're BCV points (where we'd like to stay next summer). Can I use them at the 11 month window or do I have to wait until 7 months with my AKV points?

Yes you can use the transferred BCV points to book BCV in the 11-month window. You don't have to own a particular resort to book there 11 months out -- you just need enough points from that resort in your account, in the same UY as your travel dates. Transferred points retain their home resort and Use Year so you will be able to use them to book BCV.
