Transfering pts. ?

We're planning a visit in April 08 and have a UY of aug. I can bank my Aug 07 and borrow my Aug 08. Now here is the question.........How can I have a friend transfer her points to my account for the points I'm short? In Aug 08 can I borrow from my Aug 09 points to repay the points she gave me?

First of all, you do NOT need to borrow '07 points for an April '08 trip, since you will be in your '07 use year at that time. You can indeed borrow the '08 points for that trip, but after that transaction, you will not have any points until Aug. '09. After August 1 '08, you may borrow Aug. '09 points. Another option would be to have your friend book one night for you instead of transfering the points. That way neither of you will have to worry about your transfer status. You can then do the same for your friend in your '08 use year using '09 points.
