transfering/banking/borrowing question

My home resort is OKW. Use year is December. We will be staying at BLT in January using all Dec 2009 points and i have borrowed 25 points from 2010. Can i get points transferred in (points that are about to expire) and use those points for my current reservation, then bank my December 2009 points? I realize i can't bank borrowed points, so my 2010 points must be used. If i can bank my 2009 points and use the transfer, would i have to give up my ressie at BLT and then try to re-book something else? Figured if i can get points cheap (not that i would pay for transferred points, cough), it would be worth it for me to bank and have more for next year (taking my parents next year).

You are most likely already within 30 days of arrival - so any attempt to reallocate points will result in those points going into the Holding Account - where they could not be banked and could only be used to make a reservation within 60 days of arrival.

If you are still beyond the 30 day limitation, then you most likely could use transferred points to free up your 2009 points to be banked providing you can accomplish the transfer before you are within 30 days.
