transfered in points question

I just had points transfered into my account. 250 SSR points (my home resort), and 60 Vero beach points.
My question is will these points retain their original home resort/use year or will they become the same as my contract resort/use year?:confused

The transferred in points do retain their specific home resort & use year.

They do not morph into what your points are.

Since SSR is your home resort you could combine transferred in SSR points with yours to book at 11 month window at SSR. VB points can't be used to make reservation at SSR or any other DVC resort until 7 months or less.

You can bank transferred points into your upcoming Use Year, don't know if you are aware of this. And even if the transferred points are past their banking deadline MS has been known to allow them to still be banked. If you think you may be interested in doing this give MS a call.
