Transfer title to season pass

Hello,

A few weeks ago we purchased a season pass for our son, who seems to hate Disneyland. We have been financing our two other passes. Does any one know if Disney allows you to transfer the pass for credit towards our other season passes if it doesn't work out for our son? Thanks for your reply!

That is a good question, the way I look at it is, they do not give refunds to those not financing their pass..so chances are, they are not going to transfer credits/title for one that is financed. It would essentially be the same as getting a refund because you don't like the park. I could be wrong, but that is how I look at it.
If the pass has not been activated, they may give you the "refund".. but if it is activated and been used, like I said, they probably will not.. it that were to happen, Disney can potentially end up giving refunds to all who have purchased a seasonal/annual pass, went & didn't like the park... see what I am saying... again, this is my opinion and I can be wrong.. Maybe you should call Disney to get the right answer.. it doesn't hurt to try...

I am not sure about DisneyLand, but all passes at WDW state "NOT TRANSFERABLE" on them. I would think the DL ones do also. And it is my understanding that the APs at DL have the person's photo on it, so it would be difficult to let someone else use it.

And I know that the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Plan is basically the same as the Southern California Resident Monthly Payment Plan. Once the contract is signed the contract cannot be modified in any way. You can make advance payments on it which will reduce the total number of payments and adjust the value of the last payment.

By definition an upgrade is taking one ticket and adding cash (or similar) and ending up with one ticket with more entitlements. You cannot combine two tickets to get one ticket with more features. So you cannot apply the "value" of any existing AP to an existing MPP contract.

And calling generally will not work; unless you know the actual direct number to an office you will be routed to a call center, where they know how to sell tickets and packages, but do not deal with ticketing problems. You might be able to go through the Main Switchboard and attempt to get through to Ticket Services, but this will have to be during "normal business hours" and more than likely the answer will b no.

Disney's customer service is top notch. I'd call them and ask. If you explain the situation, they might convert the season pass to a ticket for the number of days your son has used so far and refund the difference. It never hurts to ask.

APs are non transferrable for DL, but if you have not yet activated the voucher then yes you can. I purchased vouchers for DBF and myself a couple years ago, then his parents bought us all vouchers for Christmas so my BFF purchased my other 2 vouchers and it wasn't a problem for them to activate them. Vouchers can be given as gifts so they can be given away. You can also hold onto the voucher until your current AP expires and then you are able to activate it but you may be required to pay the difference between what you paid and the current AP price. I hope that helps. :)

Annual Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable once activated.

From your post it sounds to me like your son has already used his pass at least once, and if that's the case, I'm afraid it might be an expensive lesson learned.

That, or maybe the Disneyland experience will grow on him. Is he willing to give it another chance?

Take it up with GUEST SERVICES outside the park. They will try to work with you if you explain the situation.

We've had a similar situation happen when DH got orders to deploy a month after we had renewed his AP. The deployment was going to be for 11 months, so essentially, the rest of the time he had on the AP. Disney was VERY helpful in figuring out a solution that worked for us. In essence, they refunded back the amount of the AP minus the cost of a one day, one park hopper. They then made his AP "expire" right before his deployment, and told us to enjoy his last month here and come as many times as we could. They were awesome!

They certainly didn't have to do this. But they did.

I'm glad they were able to help you out :cool1:

The OPs situation is different though. They can try, but I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is that the pass cannot be canceled or transfered once it has been used.
