Just because Disney is afraid to police its own policies for fear of offending even one person; does not make it morally right.
Questioning the morality of someone who wants to use their parents tickets is just ridiculous. It is not a morality issue but one of common sense.
For those who like to preach " morality ", why is it that we never hear any complains from them when every year Disney raises admission prices, Disney raises hotel room rates, and Disney raises resaurant prices, particularly at character buffets. Is it morally right that because of these constant prices increases some families cannot afford to visit WDW because it is too expensive, or for those who worry so much about rules and morality these prices increases are justified because it allows Disney to make more profits so that Bob Iger can continue to enjoy his million dollar plus salary?

Since Disney is a for-profit business they exist to make money for their stockholders, so they will continue to try to do so. As a business, they will charge what the market will bear. It is not an inherent right to be able to go to Disney World -it is a luxury. Morality has nothing to do with it. You are comparing apples and oranges.

It all comes down to the fact that Disney sells their service under their terms not the terms we want.

This thread is beyond stupid. Please, I love Dis as much as the next person, and go every year, but I am under no false impression that Dis loves me and everything they do is for my benefit. They are out to make money...period...
Giving a ticket to a family member or even a friend to enjoy is not the same as the guys trying to make money by selling unused days! Please, if I had a ticket to any amusment park and didn't need a day I would gladly give it to a family member or friend to use....not in order to RIP ANYONE OFF... just to help out another person. I understand the rules, it is unfortunate there has to be rules about everything, if greedy people would quit trying to sell unused tickets on e-bay these rules wouldn't need to be in place for everyone. The finger scan is making it hard for people like me who have to keep track of multiple tickets, I logically understand the reason, but I also understand that Dis is doing it for their profit(more ticket control)(and I understand they have that right), but it doesn't make for much magic.

Oh please, that is a fact. I find it funny when people make this comment about Walt Disney-they haven't know the man personally to be able to make a comment like this.

I believe that this question has been answered. The tickets are non transferrable. I'm going to close this discussion now.
