Transfer question

I have a Dec use year. If I transferred in Aug 2024 points from another member, would those count as my transfer for my 2024 use year or would it count for my 2023 use year because the points would be available to start using while I was still in my 2023 use year?

August 2024 use year points transfer to December 2024 use year points. You may bank the August 2024 points after they have been transferred, but you cannot borrow them.

No, the transferred points retain their August use year and also their home resort.

Everything goes by the UY of the points that are received. So, if you get 2024 UY points, it counts as your 2024 UY transfer, even though you can technically use them for dates that happen within your own Dec 2023 UY.

As already mentioned, points keep all their own rules...they just house themselves in a different membership.
