transfer question

Finally got the BCV points loaded from my resale and my planning has started in earnest - woo hoo! Both my AKV and BCV contracts have the same UY. If I bank AKV points, can I transfer those banked points to my BCV contract, or do banked points have to stay with the original contract?

Points that have been banked can't be transferred; same goes for points that have been borrowed. You can transfer current Use Year points only and once those points are transferred they can then be banked if it's during first 8 months of that Use Year.

If your contracts have the same use year, they will likely be a single membership number. You can not transfer points within the same membership number.

If you are asking if points from one home resort can be transferred to another contract and morph into additional home resort points for booking during the 11 month priority window, the answer is no. At the 7 month window, the two home resort contracts will function as a single contract.

Guess having this second contract will be a learning process for me! I do have a single membership number, so that's good to know that I can use all of the points as a total at the 7 month point. At the 7 month mark, am I still allowed to specify how many points to take from which contract? For example, next year I want to go to GCV and Aulani. I'd like to use my BCV points for the GCV reservation as well as one night at Aulani, and then use my AKV points for the rest of the Aulani reservation. Is this possible?

Yes, you may specificy which contract to use at the 7 month timeframe if you need to do so.
