I tried using my AmyMickey transfers today (non-DIS project) and the results were not good.:sad2:

They were easy to use (once I got the hang of peeling!) and went on smoothly with vibrant colors...but there is SO much white space.

Do you trim each individual letter? I trimmed very closely, but it still looks like I cut out a piece of white paper and stuck it on my project.

Please share your transfer success secrets!

I'm thinking that these transfers are only for designs that are completely filled in, without white space?

I used Amy's transfers, too. I put my images into a MS Word document and then surrounded them with a bordered box. It really gave them definition, and made cutting them out much easier. It also worked equally well for white and colored shirts.

We got so many compliments on our shirts, and they are holding up really well!

Thanks...your shirts look fantastic!

I think these may just be the wrong product for this project. I will reserve them for our trip shirts.:cool1:

And, just to clarify-- the transfers worked fine, but my idea did not! As DS16 likes to remind me "User Error"....

When I did my names, I did cut the letters out:) Time consuming, yes, gorgeous tho:)
