Transfer Question

I know I could look up my contract, but I am being lazy. Can anyone tell me how the one per year transfer works.

I had extra points this year so I offerred my points to all of my neighbors and no one took me up on it so I transferred them to another owner. My use year is March and the points were for this year.

Now a neighbor has decided to go to WDW in March 2009. Since we are going to WDW in March 2009 ourselves, I don't have any points available for them.

Could I have points transferred into my account for my 2009 use year? Or is the one transfer per year mean that I can only make one transfer per calendar year and it doesn't matter that i am transferring points into different use years?

My understanding is that the "one year" applies to use year for the points concerned. So you should be able to transfer back in some points from a different use year than the points you transferred out.

That would be great if it is per use year. I will call MS to confirm.

Yes, the limit is one per Use Year so if you have transferred points to/from your 2008 Use Year you can still transfer either into or out of your 2009 Use Year.
