Transfer Points vs Renting Points

I am not sure where to ask this, so I thought I would give it a shot here. I looked around a bit and cannot find the info I am looking for....please direct me to the right place.

I am looking to "rent" points from a member. It has occurred to me that it might be easier to transfer them into an existing DVC member account...(a family member...that way the reservation and my pestering can be done to my family instead of the renter)

How is this done? What info is needed from the account that the points are going into?

The owners of the two contracts need to communicate, and it will be the ONLY transfer allowed for each of them in that use year. The person transfering out needs the member name and account number to transfer the points to.

I do agree that having a family member make those arrangements for you is a good idea, but having them give up their once yearly transfer might not work for their plans.
