Transfer points not in member dashboard?

We just did a point transfer into our account and member services is telling us we won't be able to see it online in our member dashboard and that if we want to make a reservation, we have to go through member services and can't book online. Does this sound right to you?

Yes, transferred points will not show up online, unless they match your home resort and use year. (Also, someone did mention a case that transferred points did not show up online even though they did match both home resort and UY.) You will need to call MS to use the points.

Not really.

I've had transferred points on several occasions... yes, I need more points :rolleyes:... one time they matched a resort and use year I own so i was able to access them online. Otherwise a simple call to MS will give you all the information you need. I've never found it difficult and is just a part of dealing with transferred points.
 
We had an issue where a friend transferred points to us that we didn't need to use at the time, but when we did make a reservation the points were not used. When I made an additional reservation ms asked if I wanted to use the transferred points. I wasn't happy that the first cm didn't mention the points. I had forgotten about them and there was the chance they could have expired since they didn't show up on our accounts.
