Transfer points keeping home resort priority

If someone transfers me points from their home resort (not same as mine) do I then have the 11 month booking window with those points?

example: I own at SSR and someone transfers me 200 points from GFV today, can I use the GFV points to book on my own for December, or because I own at SSR I am not able to book GFV until 7 months?

You get the GF 11 month window. I transferred in AKL points because I wanted their 11 month window to get a two bedroom value and I did get it.

Yes, points always retain their home resort and UY status. Of course, you will only have that advantage with the VGF points, not your own SSR points.

Your SSR points will still only be available for use at the 7 month mark.
