JUST CALLED MS and they told me I can not use these two contracts again until 2008. So back to the family gathering at POR and not a DVC.

I need some help with point transfers.

I need more point for Aug 2007 and will be looking for points to transfer into my account.

With the only one rule I am confused.

I have 2 contracts so if I would need 200 points and found 2 people with 100 each I could have one use contract "A" and the other contract "B". Then when I made my ressie MS could combine them for my use. Seem right but not sure.

Now - I made a ressie for June 2007 at HHI and MS took points out of contract "A " and put them in to contract "B". Does this count as one transfer in contract "B" so it can not be use again until 2008? Leaving me with only contract "A" to use for a transfer in?

:confused3

The current rule is one in or one out per USE year per master contract. No need to transfer points under one master contract. One can usually avoid transferring and still use separate contracts by linking reservations. The main issue will be for things like cruises where al points must be in one contract. In the past DVC has ignored the transfer rules for this situation but I haven't seen any info to tell me if that has changed at all. In the past it was handled on a case by case basis and I suspect that will not change.
