I have read several threads saying what everyone uses for their shirts. I was just wondering if people use the dark transfer paper for all their shirts or if they use the light for their whites and then the dark for all the others. I am new to this, so I need LOTS of help. We are leaving in 9 weeks and couting!
Thanks!

I used both light and dark transfer paper. The difference is if you use light transfer paper for a dark shirt you may see the shirt color through the transfer. I really think I learned a little something with each shirt I did.

If you haven't read it yet go back to the main page and read the post at the top tittled " Design Tips" the first part of the post deals with designing but if you scroll down a little it gives tips and pointers for how to get a design onto a shirt. It was very helpful to me for learning how to flip images etc.

Have fun and be careful it's addictive!

I MUCH prefer the look and feel of the shirts using the transfer paper for light fabrics. I tried to stay away from colored shirts for this reason, but that's just my opinion. However, with that being said, I did do a couple dark shirts using the transfer paper for dark fabrics and it seems to hold up much better. We're talking washer AND dryer probably 5 times since our trip and no signs of fading or cracking.....
