I used the the HP light transfer paper on a couple of shirts. When I peeled the backing off some of the edges were lifting slightly from the shirt. Is there anyway to fix this? Has anyone else had this problem? I followed the directions regarding ironing times and made sure to go over the edges. I didn't have any problems with the dark transfers.

Thanks

Yes, simply replace the backing and repeat the process until it's easy to remove the backing with the image adhered to the shirt. Even though you followed the directions to the letter, your iron may not be as hot as the directions assume or you may not be applying as much pressure, or your room may be more humid, who knows? :confused3 However, with experience, you will learn to check all 4 corners before you peel the backing off, and to repeat and repeat until the backing literally slips off.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I actually tried going over the corners for more time, but I was scared to do it for too long (burning the image). I'm sure practice makes perfect.

Thanks again.

We found out that doing it on the ironing board would do that. Use a piece of wood or your kitchen counter top. Mine is formica so we just the coutertop...

Good luck!
