Amy? Since they are yours, maybe you can answer?

I need to know if I can put a transfer (dark) on top of another. The situation is that we have a couple family designs, made by you wonderful designers, and they have our names. There is a chance that another very special member of our family will be coming and I'm not sure if I can salvage the shirts I've already made by just having the designers add her name to the designs and try to put the new design right on top of the other? If I have to buy new shirts, I will, but just thought I would see if anyone has had success with this and save some money (as I've already spent a FORTUNE on my obsession!)

I did place one of Amy's transfers on top of another and it worked. It makes the shirt 'hotter' because there are two transfers on top of each other. I was trying to do a last minute christmas gift and got in a hurry...but it worked out!

Amy's transfers are THE BEST! I'll never use anything else!!!

Thanks Sue! Did you find it peeled or anything? Was the transfer you put on top the exact same size? Mine would be.

You know what this means Amy! That last 20 won't be enough... :lol

Nope, no peeling at all!! In fact, it's been washed numerous times and still looks as good as when I made it.

Oh yeah, 20 is NEVER enough...I always order 40 at a time 'just because'...lol...

Sorry, I'm a dork...yes, the transfers were the same exact size. I just made sure I completely laid the second one directly on top of the first. If you have a white border on your design it won't matter if you're 'off' just a tad!

I didn't even know she sold 40 at a time...I've ordered 5 times now I think! In my defense, it's not all for our trip, we've started making name-shirts for friends and I've made some everyday shirts for myself. I've NEVER had an issue with peeling and my shirts have been washed over and over too, I was just concerned the bottom pattern that was getting covered would bleed into the one on top or make it easier to peel.

I am glad Sue (showpony) has been so helpful with answering your questions. I have no personal experience with this so I am glad that Sue has tried it and was able to share the info. Good luck!

I have placed a design over another , they turned out fine , no peeling or cracking . ( They were the same size design with , I make t-shirts for DD sports so I just place a softball over the basketball )

It's funny that you responded Veronica b/c I believe one of the designs you made for me will be one that I'm having to change! I'm still unsure if she will be coming, but I'm guessing I should ask as soon as I know or maybe even before. We have a little time, our trip isn't until October.
