I am looking for someone who flew with TMA. I got decent rates after Southeast closed up shop and was wondering some info about them.

I am flying out of Harrisburg Dec 21 and coming back Dec 30. I wanted to ask some questions and your opinion of the airline based on their security checks, planes...etc.

Apparently they just started flying out of Harrisburg to Sanford this year. When I called them they told me they were actually expanding operations. I had never heard of them before yet they have been in biz since 1995. I wonder if they flew out west somewhere. ANyway--if you have ANY info or tips will you please chat with me

Some friends - mom, dad, two children 8 & 10 - just flew Transmeridian Thanksgiving week non-stop Syracuse to Sanford. They enjoyed the non-stop flights, personnel, etc. They rented a car at the airport to take them to their destination.

Good luck with your plans. I just read some notes by you - sorry you have had such a tough time lately, but I am glad you are still going to WDW!!

Stacy, so sorry to hear you got caught up in the SouthEast Airline mess. I'm glad you found tickets for a reasonable price on TransMeridian. We flew with them in early October and had a very good experience.

You asked about the airport security checks. These are handled by the very capable staff at Harrisburg International. They are very professional and definitely on par with the security staff we've encountered at other airports like Baltimore-Washington International and Orlando International. Don't let Harrisburg's small size fool you - they are on the ball! They just opened the new terminal in late August and it is first rate and beautiful! I think you'll enjoy flying out of Harrisburg.

TransMeridian's service was also professional. Their staff was all very friendly but also professional. They didn't strike me as a "rinky dink" airline at all. I felt they were on par with Southwest, which we often fly from Baltimore-Washington International. They aren't fancy but they are clean and efficient.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Hope you enjoy your trip! If you have any more questions, let me know!
