We have always stayed at HRH and decided to try something different and go to RPH. It looks like a much longer walk to the park area. Is it? Should we take the boat? I guess we were spoiled at HRH.

:boat:

i'm in the same shoes.

always a hrh fan, rph virgin but staying there first time this fall.

i posed this question before like you have and found out it is about a 7-9 minute walk to the parks. the walkway empties out by margaritaville in city walk. you would be very close to IOA then.

someone told me the boat is not the best choice if you have just missed it. meaning, if the boat is leaving the dock as you walk up, it could be a 20 minute wait for it to come back. better to walk then.

also, tower 3 is closest to the water taxi
tower 1 is closest to the walk way.

i think it is robvia that has the links to the park walkways from rph. pull up one of his links and view it. (hope i have the correct poster for that)

options : boat/bus/walk
i plan to do the water taxi if it is there. if i have just missed it, then i wil walk

We stayed at the RPH in November and walked to the parks everyday. It is about a 5 minute walk and it's a lovely walk. We road the water taxi twice in the afternoon but walked the rest of the time. You'll love the hotel and the walk! Have fun :sunny:

It's a very easy walk to Margaritaville. Tower one is closest to the path that leads to City Walk.

We just got back. The water taxis seemed quite frequent. And we were more than glad to get off our feet for a few minutes. Right now in the comfort of your own home, you might think, I'm young, I want the fastest way to and from the park. But once you get there and have been walking and standing all day long, you will seize upon every chance to save your poor aching feet!
