Who has done this? The boys will be 2, 4 and 6 whenever it is we end up going to Disneyland next year so we'll take the Phil and Ted double pram, but we'd like the two older boys to do a lot of walking on their own. I'm thinking that once Daylight Saving starts we might start walking of an evening. We have a park with a 1.7km track right near us, so that would be a perfect place - away from traffic. I don't know how we'll manage to convince them they don't need their bikes though, we're planning on keeping the trip a secret so we can't tell them that that's why we want to get them walking.

Has anybody done this? Was it a success?

Take the stroller , I bet you will be the one wanting to ride in it!

If the boys are interested in sports or watching a football game of any sort, tell them that they need to 'train'. When DS was younger, he did ride to the park; but we made him walk/run round the footy oval at least 3 laps and built it up from there.

Sadly, DS lost interest in sport very quickly after that. :rotfl2:

We broached the subject last night at dinner and DS1 was horrified about having to WALK to the park rather than ride his bike :sad2: Time to start negotiations...
