this is the third time that animal has been involved with the death of a human. i really think it should not have any close contact with trainers. its obviously not as tame as everyone is pretending it is.

The whale is kept in a separate tank and the trainers don't get into the water with him.
One of the incidents was when a man stayed in the park after hours and tried to get into the tank with the whale. He ended up getting hypothermia and dying, so the whale isn't really responsible.
Many have said and I agree with them - they think that the whale thought he was just playing around. It was a horrible accident. She fell in and unfortunately the whale just doesn't understand his immense power.
No, of course not, but it needs to be retired.
He obviously isn't tame and they need to put him where he can be viewed but not harm anyone.
They should have retired him after his first incident but they didn't and this happened.
It could have been prevented which makes it that much more sad.

I don't know why they continue to let it do shows.
That's just stupidity on sea world's part.
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
We were talking about this at school. I only heard about it on Thursday morning by GMTV
Me and Amber (my best friend and Disney Buddy) don't think the killer whale should be put down because he was wild before he came to Sea World. Also, the Orca probably thought he was just playing
I feel really sorry for her too, but at least she was doing something she loved
One of my coworkers at the Aquarium was at that very show when it happened. She was very traumatized and didn't want to talk about it. Also, that's what she's trying to become, she recently got an internship at Seaworld and wants to be a trainer.
