Hi all!

I have some questions and asking for some advice about traveling by train to WDW. I'll be traveling from Philadelphia in May by myself (I'll be meeting up with my family at Fort Wilderness).

1. What's the best station to get off at? I've seen both Orlando and Kissimmee. I'm not renting a car nor is my family, so I'll be taking a taxi to Fort Wilderness.

2. Any suggestions on food? I know there are some options, but I'm pescatarian (vegetarian but I also eat fish).

3. What's the best type of pillow for a coach seat for sleeping overnight?

Any other advice or tips would be great. :)

Thanks!!

Never done the train so I can't help on most of your questions but the closest station is Kissimmee.

We just traveled via Amtrak from NY to the Orlando station in May. Never been to the Kissimmee station so I can comment on that. Had no problems with the Orlando station.
We had a town car service pick us up to bring us to the resort and then back to the station.
We traveled in the bedroom so can't comment on coach. Meals are included with the bedroom and roomettes. My daughter is a vegetarian and they had a vegetarian option for each meal. I'm sure you'd be able to purchase the same via coach. For lunch I believe she had a vegetarian patty and for dinner it was a pasta dish. She said they were very good.
This is a thread on here about taking the Amtrak to Florida that you can get some good information from. People have commented on taking the rooms and traveling via coach.
