Train ride

I remember someone posting about where to get on the train with the shortest line. Where is that again?

I like Tomorrowland for a quick line, but I tend to get on at Main Street. Fantasyland always seems to be busy like New Orleans Square.

Now that they moved the smoking area away from the Tomorrowland station patway, it's much better!

The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland had that info in it, but I forget what they said. We didn't ride the train.

Do remember that little children may be afraid of the Dinosaurs in the tunnel to main street!! My 21 yr old still won't go thru there!! Scared the baageezes out of her.

There's a reason.... that tunnel is haunted, like many other places at DL - and I don't include the HM in that, because it isn't. That bend by Big Thunder Ranch - haunted too.

We have DL CM friends who have stories. They are very interesting stories, too.

On the flip side - my 3 yr old loves that tunnel! She thinks the dinos are way cool!

I agree! Sounds interesting to say the least!

I usually ride the Railroad at night from the New Orleans station, and there's never a long line. Just a bit of a wait for the train to get there.

Yes, funny how, one of my most memorable moments of DL when I was in Gr. 1, @ 5 years of age, was on the train ride, through the Dinosaur area... I wasn't scared, it just was impressive to me. I wonder if I felt how special the area was.
