Train at MK?

Is the train at MK running right at park opening? (The one that goes around the park) If so, is it a good idea to take the train at ripe drop to start at the back of the park? We are planning to start the day with BTMR and splash.

I think your best bet is to be at the rope to Liberty Square before rope drop, then head directly to BTMRR. Most people head to Fantasyland, so you should be fine. I don't know for sure about the train, but I think it would be slower as they still have to load it after rope drop.

If you are there for RD you should have no problem riding both rides.

Yes, it runs at park opening. The train only stops for parades.

I wouldn't rely on it to get you to Frontierland faster than walking. The rope droppers will get there before you. Remember, the opening show is now at the hub, not the front gate. So, if you're there for rope drop, you'd have to backtrack to the front gate to get on the train. You way as well walk through Liberty Square at get to your featured attractions.

In my opinion, ride the train until after you’ve seen the featured attractions, or use it when you need transportation from the back of the park to the front gate.

No. There's no FP for the train. It's just a train that goes around the perimeter of the park and has 3 stops including the one you got on at.

And in general its faster to walk to wear you want to go. If you want to start at Big thunder then you'll beat the train there

Thanks, y'all! I thought for sure the train would be faster but looks like we'll be saving it for the way back to the front. By that point we should be tired of walking anyway!
