Do you have to have a reservation for the Trails End Buffeteria at Fort Wilderness? :flower3:

It might depend on when you're visiting. Having said that, we didn't have a reservation in August a year or so ago and had no issues at dinner. But we got there pretty early (4:30-ish) because my mom was with us and we had opted for a light lunch and early dinner that day. And the room did fill up and there was a line when we were leaving. So I would say yes unless you get there at "opening". :goodvibes. It couldn't hurt.

Breakfast tends to be pretty empty so you probably wouldn't need one. For dinner, like PP said, if you are getting there right when they open you should be okay. Also you'd likely be okay after normal dinner time, like 8pm. From 5-7pm it can be pretty busy so if that is the time you'd like to eat you might want to make an ADR. I have also found that there are often same day ADRs so even if you don't decide until that afternoon, give disney dining a call and make that ADR.

One of our favorite buffets on property, especially for breakfast and dinner.....we never had reservations in vacations of past but lately the place has drawn alot of notoriety and been over crowded that we've gotten turned away a few times....real easy to make ADR's there....why not...assures you a spot for the day....we're not ADR people, always find something to eat but being turned away from our favorite buffet has made me make a breakfast and dinner reservation at Trails end for this up coming trip.....made them 6 days out from our stay and all kinds of times available.....regardless, we're booked....and can always cancel if something else comes up......make the reservations....

I think it depends when you're there. We were there in August with the dining and we went to the concierge at about 6pm to find out if any buffet style restaurants had availability as we had nothing booked. Trails End was one of 3 that had availability. I have to be honest I think Trails End is a hidden little gem that most people miss. The food was great, service was excellent and I really enjoyed it.

I have been to Disney over 50 times and have never been to this buffet. Do you think it's worth a special trip if you are not staying at the resort? BTW we are staying at the BWV next trip in December....
