we ate at trails end in aug. we were really excited until we began to eat had the dinner buffet, did not find it anything great by any means, would not do it again. any suggestions for a better buffet.

We love Trail's End, but Chef Mickey's if fabulous, and Crystal Palace is also very good. Also, you might enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern and/or Garden Grill-they are not buffet, but are all you can eat family style! They are all Character dinners, too!

For my money, the best is Boma. More expensive than TE but much better selection & quality. Ate here 2x on my most recent trip.
There is a seafood buffet @ the beach club that a seafood lover friend of mine loved.
Chef Mickey's is fun for the kids, food's just ok.
I found Hollywood & Vine to be much better than TE, although some hate it.

We ate at TE in August (as we usually eat here a couple of times each trip) and it was not as good as usual. Breakfast was OK, but dinner was not very good at all. The food selection was poor, and the food did not seem fresh.
