I was able to get ADR's for both restaurants. After reading reviews and looking at pictures it seems these two are very similar. Is there a difference between the two? Will I miss out if I cancel one and not the other? We also have ADR's for Cape May Clam bake, Tusker House Breakfast, Hollywood and Vine lunch and BOG Breakfast. This is our 2nd trip to Disney but the first on site (POP) and with DDP.

We just went to Trail's End for dinner. It's a buffet and it's a great value. There's salads, pasta, mac & cheese, fried and baked chicken, ribs, ham, beef, soups, desserts. We've eaten at Whispering Canyon. They have all you care to eat platters as well as an ala carte menu. The all you can eat includes salad, potatoes, corn, chicken, ribs, beans. (Maybe I'm missing something- it's been a few years). Dessert isn't included. I find Trail's End a better value for your money.

My family loves the food and atmosphere of WCC. We have been each trip and always find it hilarious with good food. I would highly recommend staying with them.

Trail's End has a lot more options and you have the opportunity to eat a lot more. However, if you get a good server at Whispering Canyon, the experience can't be beat. If you haven't been to WCC before, I would go there for the experience factor.

Depends on which meal you are eating. If breakfast, Trails would be my choice. Lunch and dinner, WCC

We did breakfast for the first time last year at WCC and loved the "Antics". Thought the food was delicious as well. the resort is just gorgeous! However, Trails End is a personal favorite of ours- both breakfast and dinner. We usually do several times per trip. It is a great price and you get a ton of variety. So yummy! I'd keep Trails End! :)

I would keep Trail's End and use the other credit for a meal at Epcot. There are wonderful choices there.

We loved WCC! The food was delicious! DH and I got the all you care to eat skillet and it was a ton of food. The kids loved all the antics and silliness:)
It was our last meal before leaving Disney ( car was literally all packed up for drive home) and it really was the perfect way to end our vacation.

While the food may be somewhat similar, the atmosphere is completely different.

Trails End is a buffet. You get up walk around the buffet, get your food and go back to your table and eat. The server only comes around to fill your drink and remove the dirty plates. The food tastes good, and it is a good value for the price. My family is picky and we like the food.

Whispering Canyon Café is more about the antics, the sassy servers, and entertainment. The food is still good, and you get plenty to eat. But this place is much more active and fun. The servers are very animated and teasing the customers. You will see stick horse races, loud hooting and hollering, folks running around the restaurant carrying the ketchup, etc.

I don't know that it is necessary to do both on the same trip, but you should try both places at some point. If you like a quiet place to eat in peace go with Trail's End, if you are looking for a more entertaining experience then pick Whispering Canyon.
