Trails End To Go Counter Service on the DDP

Hi everyone.

I noticed on the disney website that an item on the menu at Trails end to go counter service restaurant that was $23 and included 10 pieces of chicken and two sides. Is this counted as a meal on the disney dining program??
If so that is quite the deal! you could feed multiple people on that one meal! this is why i am questioning it...
Has anyone done this before?

If you look here not all items are on the dining plan. Unless something else has been posted but there is no way a $23 meal is going to be one credit.

To count as one credit it has to be a single serving. So no 10 pieces of chicken wouldn't count as a single entree!

Generally speaking, room service requires table service credits, but if you pick up the pizza, it should use quick service credits.

My question would be, for instance, a large pizza with two drinks and two desserts will "cost" two CS meal credits.
I would wonder if the same is true for the family size chicken meal.
I haven't heard of anyone doing this.
Not that it matters to me, other than curiosity! I probably won't be making my way over there next trip!

No, but we have done Trails End to go a few times while staying at FW. The 2 piece lone rider (white meat) we normally get had two breasts two sides cornbread a drink and dessert! My kids split it as they are small and it is pretty big. I have never tried the pizza but have seen people carrying it out.

Just as an FYI, the 10 pces to go is a great deal. We had it twice at FW. It's the same chicken and mashed potatoes served at Hoop Dee Doo. Very good and cheap! Fed 6 of us. We didn't love the Trail's End pizza but the fried chx meal was great! Yum.
