I remember this being a great bargain buffet on my trip 2 years ago~and a well kept secret at the time. Is it still the bargain it was? The food was yummy and it was CHEAP!

It has gone up but not much. DH wants to go for breakfast, but for the same price we can get the skillet at WC at our resort. Although it would be a nice walk for us in the morning. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We will be at WDW july 25-30 and plan on eating here.It sounds fabulous and after we are going horsback riding yay!!!

We have camped at FW about 30 times over the years and always do Trails End--in the past we have found it hit and miss----but our last trip--this past June it was excellent---the food quality was excellent and the veggie choices have increased--we actuallt had three dinners there during our 10 day trip---we have never don ethat before but we both found it that good this trip

I consider this a must every time. Food is excellant and price is well worth it. You can now make ADR'S for this place. Recommend if you are late person in the morning and good to have for dinner.

It's great for dinner and one of my fave places for breakfast.

Has anyone ever been there and had the strawberry shortcake that they serve at teh Hoop De Doo??? Just curious as that was the one thing I was disappointed in...I was hoping they might have it on thebuffet. we went last summer and loved it. Not sure if we can fit it in this time, but it's a good one to sometimes get late ADRs for so we might. :)

No, and I've eaten there a lot. I don't think they serve the shortcake there. I will say that their deserts are very nice though. :) All homey and stuff.

We ate their fives times during 2 week visit a couple months ago. We were talking to the server and she was telling us about the place. I guess in the past there was more change, and now the buffet is pretty standard. They always have their chili, salad bar with shrimp(I must have ate a pound of those myself) ribs, mac & cheese, pizza, fried chicken(to die for) smoked top round, salmon, and a pasta dish. Then there are a couple other side dishes, and from what I remember, usually 3 or 4 veggie sides. Then there is the soup of the day, the rolls, and corn bread, and don't forget the deserts. Oh my, that bread pudding and apple crisp was So good, but I was SO full.
