I'm trying to think of a fun way to wrap up the week. I was thinking trails end followed by chip n' dale campfire, or dinner at Chef Mickeys. Which one has better food at dinner? We ate at Chef Mickeys for breakfast last year. On grad nights do they do fireworks at the MK and would we be able to see them from Chef Mickeys?
I should say our original idea was 'Ohana followed by fireworks, but nothing is currently available.
Also we will have our car, so transportation is not an issue.
Any other ideas?

see the fireworks from CM. The restaurant is on the other side of the Contemporary. You can always take the monorail around to the Poly and watch from the beach.

I think that they serve the same food at Trail's End as they do at HDDR. If that is the case, I pick Trail's End.:thumbsup2 Our last trip to CM was very so-so. We usually eat breakfast there which is ok, but last trip we tried lunch and I was very much not impressed.:snooty: The fried chicken and ribs that we had at HDDR were our favorite meal of our trip. I have never been to the campfire, but I have wanted to try it on the last few trips.

How was the HDDR? I think my husband is leaning towards adding the dining plan again, and if we do I was thinking of booking it on our last night. Is it worth the 2 TS credits? We did CRT last time, but I'm trying to find something geared more towards the boy for this trip.
I think we will skip Chef Mickey's this time around.

Thanks! I couldn't remember what direction it faced. The monorail to the Poly is a good idea!

Actually, there is a small section of CM that faces Seven Sea's Lagoon that you could see fireworks from. But that wouldn't be the best place to do it. There is also an observation deck on the north end of the Contemporary's 4th floor from which you could watch, which would have a much better view.

your best bet is too look on Youtube and look at videos to see if it is your kind of thing. I decided it wasnt for me so im glad i got to see the videos. It looks like we are going back to Trails End again this year and it will also save us a table credit. My husband and 7 year old girl loved TE with all you can eat ribs & fried chicken.

We love the HDDR and it's a must do for us every trip.
IMHO, it is definetly worth 2TS credits. It is our favorite meal of the trip and our kids have an absolute ball.:dance3: I did CRT last trip, and although I was glad to do it once so I could say I've done it, I don't think I would use 2TS credits on it again. But deciding on whether or not to do HDDR is for another thread, which many have been devoted to!:chat:

Basically I was trying to say that the food is great comfort food at Trail's End, as long as it's the same that's served at HDDR. Both of my kids said that they would be ok taking a break from CM on the next trip.
