Am thinking about trying this out for dinner on our first night, but can't find a whole lot of info on it. Any reviews? Thank you!
We just tried Trail's End for the first time last Wednesday. The cost was $22.99/adult, which makes it the least expensive dinner buffet on property. We enjoyed the short boat ride over from the Magic Kingdom and it is a short walk from the boat dock. If you like "down home comfort food", then it is really good. If you are looking for low-fat, gourmet options...then it is not the place for you. The salad bar was fresh and had good choices. There was peel and eat shrimp on the bar. The hot vegetable options were few and I didn't care for the ones that I tried. The mashed potatoes and gravy were yummy and the fried chicken was great! It is the same that you can get at the Hoop-de-Doo. There were ribs, fish and a carving station-I enjoyed my roast beef. I loved the fact that they had brewed sweet tea!!!
There is a sundae bar and various cookies/cakes for dessert. I had the hot apple cobbler and put vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce on it!!! Yum!!! It was good! I would go there again. It was inexpensive, plentiful good food and it was nice to get out of the parks for a bit and relax.![]()
