Trails End Buffet

If you are not staying at the park, are you still able to park and take a bus back to the Trails End Buffet just to eat? We are going to Mickey's not So Scary Halloween maybe and the Buffet opens @ 4:30 pm??

But, you want to park in the FW parking lot, so you can take the bus back to eat at the Trail's End buffet?

And, then "maybe" go to MNSSHP?

UUm Ok, let's try this again - not to make anyone mad - this a question? I am going to eat at Trails End when it opens @ 4:30 on the Thursday the 21st~~ We are going to Disney that evening and driving there ---- We were considering eating at the buffet and not deal with all of the boats, buses, etc....... We were going to Whispering Canyon but it is pretty pricey... So that was my question. Thanks so much!

And, no offense, but I still don't know what your question is, exactly.

If you drive up to the guard shack at FW and tell them you have a reservation for Trail's End, they will let you in, and you can park in the main parking lot. Then you can take the bus to the Settlement and eat. Afterwards, you can take the boat to the MK, and then take the boat and bus back to the parking lot after you go to MNSSHP.

Free parking.

Even if you skip the whole Trail's End part of it.

That's why the Fort parking lot is always full.

Okay, I think the issue here is following what you were asking in your posts. It took me about five minutes of re-reading to understand what you seem to be asking.

If I understand correctly, you are wanting to eat at Trails End and want to know if you can take the bus from the parking lot to the restaurant to eat and then back to the parking lot to drive over to TTC parking to go to MK.

Yes, you can do this. I think it is the Orange bus that goes the most direct route down the middle. I would expect to take about 15-20 minutes for the ride from the parking lot to the back where TE is as there are stops along the way.

Another option would be to park at the TTC and then go over to either MK or Contemporary and take a boat to FW that comes in close to TE. Then you would just need to take the boat back to MK after you eat without moving your car. Just allow a bit more travel time to get to FW as you would need to go to MK or Contemporary before getting the boat.

Right on. I would lessen the driving/parking time as much as possible. Since you can enter the party at 4 pm, if you eat at 4:30pm and then all those movements, you're really cutting into the party time. It's a full schedule for the party and you don't want to miss anything that's planned, in addition to going on some rides. We always eat our full meal for the day about 2pm when we go to the party so we don't take any time away from enjoying the party. We just snack the rest of the night.

In that case, if it were me, I'd get to the MK a little early and park, hop the monorail/boat to MK, switch boats to FW. That puts you about a 2 minute walk from TE, no bus required.

After dinner you can take the boat directly back to MK for the party and when you're done for the evening your car will be waiting for you in the MK parking lot.
