Trail's End Buffet

What is the best way to get to trail's end buffet if you are not staying at fort wilderness? I am interested in going there for breakfast. I hear they have mickey waffles and those are the best.

I think the easiest way is to take a resort launch from MK or from Contemporary. It's a short walk from the boat dock to Pioneer Hall.

Others will direct you to the various busses, etc. but I think the boat is quicker and easier.

Definitely the boat. If you take the bus to FW, you need to take a second bus to get over to Pioneer Hall and Trails End. The boat is a one shot deal.

We took the boat from WL, and then walked back to WL. It was only a mile or so.

If you are most interested in Mickey waffles you can find them at almost all WDW restaurants.

We usually take a bus to MK and then take a boat to Fort Wilderness.

Boat from MK or Contemporary. I haven't been to their breakfast, but the lunch and dinners there are great!

Which boat ride is shorter. MK, Contemoroary or WL?

WL or Contemporary would be closer, but you'd have to get to those resorts first. Unless you're already at a park (which I doubt if you're going for breakfast), I'd just take your resort bus to MK and get on the FW boat. We usually do a breakfast there on the day we plan on going to MK so we can just head back there after eating.

Yes they have Mickey waffles, but other places do to, like wdwgooffee mentioned, but the whole breakfast buffet is great and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it. And the whole area is a great setting. If you've never been there before, go to check it out.

The boat ride from the Contemporary marina to FW and WL is a little shorter than the ride from MK. It's also a smaller boat, not much bigger than the Jungle River Cruise.

For maximum fun, I reccomend taking the boat from MK to FW, then taking the boat from FW back to Contemporary, so that you experience both. I love all of the boats at WDW, especially the open-water craft on Bay Lake, the Seven Seas Lagoon, and Crescent Lake.
