We will be WL so we can take boat to FW. Ive heard about this restaurant but not many details. Can someone feel me in about types of food there for Breakfast and Dinner and prices for adult and child.

Also, honest opinions about food.

Thanks
Jimmy

You can see the menus for all of the restaurants at WDW at wdwig.com. Sure helps in planning where to stop for meals.

I've never been but I plan to go next month. I have heard good things in fact, people have said it is the biggest bargain for an onsite meal. Any rebuttal?

Trail's End has gooood food! There are usually a couple of soups, a couple of breads, a salad bar with all the assorted items, a hot bar and pizza. This is lunch time--we usually don't do dinner there cause we cook in the motorhome.

Many of the servers have been there for years--we love seeing them each time. The prices are on WDWIG. No PS needed (or taken) for here--even on Thanksgiving we only had to wait about 20 minutes.

Have fun planning!

I'm more interested in breakfast. What can you tell me?

We ate there for dinner twice when we were there in Aug and had the best time and the best waitress (Joy) The food was great, some plain and some fancy, but all hot and fresh. I can't remember the rpice but I think it was less than $18 for adults. The group we were with loved it for dinner.

We just ate dinner at Trail's End on New Year's Day, but I'm wracking my brain trying to recall what it cost. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $17-18 per person, I think.

We enjoyed our meal there very much. The buffet had chicken, salmon, ribs, buffalo being sliced, hot potatoes & veggies, salad, fresh fruit chunks, soup, chili, rolls, and a few dessert choices. There was also a chef sitting at a decorate-your-own-cookie table, but I think that cost $2.00 per cookie.

It was a very relaxed setting, the food was good, and I wouldn't hesitate to go again. Sorry I can't help you out with any breakfast info. :D

We had breakfast at Trail's End Buffet the 1st week of June-2002. The price ($8.50 for an adult; $5.50 for a child) is probably the lowest you will find at WDW for a buffet. I think, in addition to what is listed at Trail's End Buffet Menu , (Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, sausage gravy with biscuits, French toast, fresh fruit, donuts) there were grits, oatmeal, and pancakes.

We went "mid-morning", I guess around 9:30-10:00am; it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait for a table. To sit down and eat, I think there is only the buffet (full buffet or continental breakfast), but you can purchase donuts and pastries to carry out. I noticed the price of a donut there was 60 cents compared to $1.00 for one at Roaring Forks in WL.

Service was great (mainly picking up empty dishes and refilling our drinks) and very friendly. The food was fresh and the buffet was well stocked. I don't know how busy the place is early in the morning before the Parks open or during peak season.
