We've never eaten at Trail's End and I'm trying to come up with some new places to go...

How is the breakfast buffet there?

Anyone eat there with food allergies? Were they accommodating?

I read a bad review on another site about a food allergy there, but it was an old review. Food allergy is peanuts and tree nuts. Chef Mickey's and Park Fare have always been helpful.

Thanks for any opinions!

It is a standard buffet and was very clean the 2 times we ate there in 05.

I don't know about Allergies. It does have a good selection of items including fruits and Donuts. For every fruit you eat, you can have one Donut :thumbsup2 :lmao: Also the breakfast pizza was very good.

The Atmosphere is very nice I call it "Modern Rustic" :lmao: And my daughter and wife said the bathrooms were spotless :thumbsup2 .

Its one of our family favorites. Most of the time its quiet(low-key) at the Trails End, we pay out of pocket(when on the DDP) ,basic buffet food-but good,we have alway had great friendly service and my kids love the boat ride over from MK. :thumbsup2

We love it and go there several times on each trip. We like their breakfast far more than their dinner, although I wouldn't hesitate to eat dinner there (especially if it meant I didn't have to cook!). Don't know about allergies, though.

I have had v. good attention directly from the chefs (altho I'd still try and call ahead direct just to give them a heads up). DH cooks a lot of wild game, and when I complimented the server on the venison stew, the chef came out and explained how he prepared it for me (interesting!). Funny: another time I quietly told the server that I thought the potatoes in another dish were a little chewy, well, the chef came out and politely explained that they were rutabaga, not potatoes, hence the difference in texture. Oops!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

We love- love- love Trail's end for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Have eaten there more times than I can count.

I have the same allergy- but I just avoid foods that contain tree nuts or peanuts.

I haven't had a problem there.
