Would like to try Trail's End this summer but my DD, who will be 12 is very picky - will eat pizza and plain meats but that is more or less it on this menu(apart from ice cream)- may even struggle with the fried chicken (not plain you see!) Even though TE is a good deal pricewise, it's not so great if we pay £17.99 for DD to eat a couple of slices of pizza.

Wonder if any other picky kids have enjoyed TE - and what did they eat?

The take out menu looks quite appealing - we won't be staying at FW or WL, so wondered if they had outdoor tables, perhaps by the beach to eat take out food?

i do not remember any outside tables when we were there but i'll tell you, a good time was had by all and i have some of the pickiest eaters in my family. my sister's kids don't like anything out of the ordinary and we thought that they would go for the pizza only. these kids were all over the buffet, at one glance they had mac & cheese and chicken tenders, at another glance it was mashed potatoes corn on cob, and a slice of pizza and just when i thought they couldn't eat anymore, they hit the desserts and ended up with watermelon, grapes, and jello.

i say go for it as it is very reasonably priced. we weren't staying at their resort either but it was fun to travel over there and tour the grounds after eating.
