Does anyone have experience with pu rentals for the Fort? We are thinking about renting one in Dec 2011 for my folks. Since we will be on a premium site both it and our 25ft class C should fit if we turn the pu sideways.

Comments, suggestions, ideas? This board is like bellybuttons, everyone has one.

Thanks in advance.

Back to the Fort in COOL weather in 2011 and bringing our youngest dobe. And during the Christmas season. Can't wait!

I know there is someone on the boards who does pop up rentals, but can't remember the name of the website right off the top of my head. I'm sure someone else can chime in with that. However, it is my understanding that you can only have one camper unit on a site regardless of whether or not they will both fit. I believe you could do a pop up and a tent or a Class C and a tent or 2 tents, but not 2 campers. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will correct me.

They have definitely eased the rules on adding a popup or truck camper along with a larger camping unit.

Many folks we know have placed a popup on the back of their campsite at Fort Wilderness.
