Tragedy struck in my life

Hi my name is Steven I have been a member since 2011.i have meet people on here so I want to let the disboard family know that I had a tragedy stuck my life on November 18th my parents and grandmother died in a horrible house fire I was the only one able to get out.Which as resulted with me moving to Florida with my sister I use to live in New jersey all my life I miss it there I had a good job friends and family Florida life will take lots of getting use to .Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Please tell your family you love them because you never know when a tragedy can strike. Steven

OMG I am so sorry to hear about this! Please look into grief counseling and/or a grief support group. Both were lifesavers for me when my mom passed unexpectedly. And if things start to feel unbearable, focus on living one minute at a time. Sometimes an entire day is too much to fathom, but you can always breathe through the next 60 seconds. Sending you love and healing.

Steven, I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling. I do not have the words that can take away any of your pain, but talking to people and maybe a therapist could help. There are groups that meet weekly. I don’t live in FL but hopefully someone on here can suggest a group support for you.

I am so very sorry this tragedy happened. It is completely normal to go through so many phases of grief. Just know that there are people who can help with healing.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. What an horrific thing for you to have to experience. There are zero words. I agree with others, make sure you can find someone to talk with or some kinds of support group it is a lot to handle on your own.
