Traffice questions

We are staying at CSR 12/15-20/2011. This is our first time traveling on a weekday (Tuesday). Our plane leaves out of MCO at 6:19 pm to Detroit. We have a town car picking us up at the resort. What will traffic be like at that time of day going from WDW to MCO? We are planning on going to AK that day and don't want to have to come back to the resort any earlier than we have to. What time do you think we should plan on being back to the resort and ready for the car?

Also, does it take longer to get through security during the week at that time of day?

Your towncar company will have a pretty good idea of the time required. They do it every single day. Security is pretty busy most days of the week.
My real thought is AK had better be a quick trip.

Yes, you give the town car company the flight info and time and they will tell you when you will be picked up. Its probably going to be about the same time that ME tells you, 3 hours before the flight.

So 3:20 to 3:30.
