We arrive in LA late at night, so we are planning to stay overnight in an airport near LAX. How is early morning traffic to Disneyland on a Wednesday? How much time should we allow to make it to the park in time for the gates to open? And is Super Shuttle the best way to the park? Thanks!

I think you would be better to stay closer to the park and avoid the rush hour traffic in the morning. Super Shuttle is ok but you may do a lot of riding around if others are staying at different hotels than you.

It takes about 1/2 hour with no traffic but much longer if you are going during rush hour.

Thank you so much! I don't know why it didn't even occur to me to try to stay closer to the park. :thumbsup2

Definately stay closer to the park and avoid the early morning traffic. There is no such thing anymore as light traffic during the week days out here.

I agree with the others. Traffic will be lighter when you get in, so your trip to Anaheim should be quicker. You'll be glad in the morning when you don't have to worry about getting to the parks.

We're arriving on a Friday evening (very late) and we're staying at a hotel near the airport. With time difference, it'll feel like 2 am for us so there's no way I can drive to Anaheim. We're gonna get up early the next day and get a rental car to drive around Los Angeles (gotta visit the Disney Soda Shop in Hollywood!!!) and stuff before heading down to Anaheim later that afternoon. I think traffic will be ok on a Saturday.....right? What could go wrong? :teeth: :rotfl2:
